Today, our boxer, who rose to the podium of the Olympic Games, the bronze medalist of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Karim Tulaganov, celebrates his birthday.
Karim Tulaganov was born on August 27, 1973 in the Tashkent region. In addition to bronze at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he also won bronze medals at the Asian Championships and the Central Asian Games. Karim Tulaganov went down in history as the first boxer to climb the podium at the Olympic Games after our country gained independence.
For outstanding results, he was awarded the honorary title "Honored Athlete of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the order "Mehnat Shukhrati". Today, he is also engaged in arbitration activities.
