Tokyo 2020: our para-judoka reached the final
The next day of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games is going well for the national team of Uzbekistan. A few minutes ago, our para-judoka Uchkun Kuranbayev (-66 kg) reached the final.
Kuranbayev managed to overcome the representatives of Japan, Ukraine and reach the final. Now, for the gold medal, he will go on the tatami with Sergio Ivanes from Spain.
Also, as part of today's competitions, another of our representatives, Sherzod Namozov (-60 kg), continues to fight for medals. Namozov missed a chance in the quarterfinals and will now take part in the consolation stage. In this way, his opponent will be a judoka from Mongolia.
