Two of our para-swimmers have reached the final of Tokyo 2020

The second day of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games has started. As part of this day, four of our para-swimmers took part in the 100-meter swim of the S13 category (backstroke).

In particular, Muzaffar Tursunkhuzhayev and Islam Aslanov defended the country's honor among men, and Shokhsanam Toshpulatova and Nigora Mirzokhidova defended it among women. Unfortunately, Tursunkhuzhayev and Aslanov finished their participation after the qualifying stage, taking 5th and 6th place. And two of our girls were able to reach the final — Nigora finished second, and Shokhsanam fifth.

The final among women in the 100-meter backstroke will be held today at 15: 12 Tashkent time.
