The championship of Uzbekistan in the types of modern pentathlon was held
On August 19-22, the championship of Uzbekistan in the types of modern pentathlon (two-man, three-man and four-man) was held in Tashkent. 120 athletes from the city of Tashkent, Andijan, Kashkadarya, Tashkent and Surkhandarya regions took part in the competition.
On August 20, 65 novice athletes of the age category U-11, U-13, U-15 performed in the discipline of double-event-swimming and running.
On August 21, 55 experienced athletes competed in the discipline of triathlon-swimming and laser-run (running combined with shooting from a laser pistol).
On August 22, fencing competitions were held, in which 17 of the best athletes showed their skills and skills.
The awarding ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Modern Pentathlon Federation of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Gaziyev, head of the Tashkent city Department of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Atamurad Akhmedov, Director of the Russian Academy of Sports for Winter and Complex Technical Sports Azimjon Yusupov Azimjon and presented gifts to the winners and prize-winners.
