Congratulations to Saken Polatov!
Today, Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Vice-President of the Asian Boxing Confederation, First Deputy head of the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan Saken Polatov celebrates his birthday.
Saken Dzhetibayevich Polatov was born in 1975. In 2002, he graduated from the Tashkent State Medical Institute. However, his interest in sports turned out to be stronger than medicine, and he continued to work in the field of sports. Today, he is one of the leading sports managers in the country. In 2019, he was appointed deputy chairman of the NOC and deputy head of the Boxing Federation of Uzbekistan. In 2021, he was elected vice-president of the Asian Boxing Confederation.
It should be noted that the merits of Saken Polatov in the formation of Uzbek boxing, one of the most popular and strongest in the world, are quite great. For his services to the development of boxing, the popularization of mass sports and in educating the country's youth in the spirit of patriotism, he was awarded the order "Dustlik".
