Uzbekistan Cycling Championship has started in Nukus
The Uzbekistan Junior Cycling Championship has started in Nukus (Karakalpakstan). Athletes born in 2007-2008 take part in this competition.
About 100 young cyclists from all regions of the country gathered for the national championship. According to the regulations, within the framework of today, participants competed in an individual direction (personal race) at a distance of 5 km.
The first place was taken by Beksultan Kurbaniyazov from Karakalpakstan. The second place was won by the representative of the Dynamo club at the National Guard, Nursultan Tursunov. Nikita Eremov completed the top three.
It should be noted that the main purpose of holding the national championship in Nukus is to strengthen the promotion of sports in all corners of the country. Over the past 40 years, Karakalpakstan has hosted the Uzbek championship in this sport for the first time.
