Uzbekistan Celebrates International Olympic Day in a New Format
A festive event dedicated to International Olympic Day was held at Olympic City in Tashkent. Organized in an entirely new format, the celebration brought together representatives of the sporting community and hundreds of citizens, promoting a healthy lifestyle and the values of the Olympic Movement.
The event was attended by Odil Abdurakhmanov, Sports Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Adham Ikramov, Minister of Sports, and Otabek Umarov, First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan. The officials congratulated participants on the occasion of International Olympic Day and highlighted the importance of sport and Olympic values in society.
Special interactive zones organized by national sports federations and associations were set up throughout Olympic City. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about various sports, meet star athletes, and take part in activities representing different sports.
