Today, the first prize-winner of Independent Uzbekistan at the Summer Olympic Games, judo master Armen Bagdasarov celebrates his birthday.
Armen Yuryevich Bagdasarov was born on July 31, 1972 in Tashkent. Silver medalist at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. It should be noted that this is the first medal in the history of Independent Uzbekistan at the Summer Olympic Games. Armen Yurievich worked for many years as a member of the leadership of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan. Currently, he continues his activity as the director of the judicial department of the International Judo Federation. The owner of the honorary titles "Honored Master of Sports of Uzbekistan", "Honored Coach of Uzbekistan", the order "Mehnat Shukhrati".
