Davlat Bobonov is a medalist of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games!
The best athlete of Uzbekistan in 2020, Davlat Bobonov (-90 kg), won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. This was the second medal for the delegation of Uzbekistan.
At this stage, our judoka entered the tatami against Mikhail Zgank from Turkey. Bobonov tried his best to win this medal. Thanks to the assessment of "ippon", the Uzbek athlete was awarded a bronze medal. Thus, Davlat Bobonov now has an Olympic medal in the piggy bank of awards.
Bobonov's award became the second medal for the delegation of Uzbekistan to Tokyo 2020 and the first for the national judo team. We sincerely congratulate Davlat Bobonov, his relatives and the judo Federation on such a victory.
