Ministers of Youth and Sports of Turkic States Gather in Tashkent
Today, the 9th Meeting of Ministers responsible for Youth and Sports of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) took place at the Museum of Olympic and Paralympic Glory in Tashkent.
The event was attended by Odil Abdurakhmanov, Presidential Advisor on Sports Affairs, the leadership of the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, as well as the Ministers of Youth and Sports of Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the Kyrgyz Republic, the Consul of Hungary in Uzbekistan, and the Deputy Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan.
In their speeches, the officials emphasized the significance of this meeting for the development of youth and sports cooperation among Turkic countries. They also highlighted the importance of organizing joint training camps involving national teams ahead of major international competitions.
