Nenad Lalović held talks with the leaders of major sports organizations
President of United World Wrestling (UWW) Nenad Lalovic, during his visit to Uzbekistan, also attended a meeting at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan. The discussions focused on further strengthening cooperationbetween UWW and Uzbekistan. In addition, athletes and their coaches who reached the podium at the recent World Championships were honored with awards.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Sports, the National Olympic Committee, and the Wrestling Association of Uzbekistan. The parties discussed ways to enhance bilateral collaboration, improve training conditions for national teams, and increase the participation of Uzbek specialists in international federations through advanced training programs.
At the conclusion of the event, the medalists and their coaches received monetary bonuses for their achievements at the World Wrestling Championships held in Croatia.
In recognition of his historic Greco-Roman world title — the first for Uzbekistan in 24 years — Aytzhan Khalmakhanov was presented with a BYD car as a gift from the President.
