The finalists of the World Championship will compete in the consolation stage
In the quarterfinals of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Uzbekistan's judoka Davlat Bobonov (-90 kg) held a fight with a representative of Georgia. Unfortunately, the fight ended not in favor of Bobonov.
The judges decided that during the fight Bobonov defended himself by using the wrong technique and awarded the victory to the Georgian judoka. Despite the loss, our athlete retained the opportunity to take part in the consolation stage for bronze. In this way, his opponent will be a well — known judoka from Spain-Nikoloz Sherazadishvili.
