As previously announced, the World Weightlifting Championships will take place on October 2–11 in the Norwegian city of Fjord, with Team Uzbekistan set to participate. Olympic champions Ruslan Nurudinov and Akbar Juraev will compete in the men’s 110 kg weight category.

It has been confirmed that both athletes will take the stage on October 10, with the competition scheduled to begin at 22:30 Tashkent time.
