The III CIS Games are underway in Azerbaijan, where Team Uzbekistan has begun its medal campaign. The first gold for our delegation was claimed by Azamat Kayumov, who triumphed in the trap shooting event.

So far, Uzbek athletes have also added to the medal tally in swimming, sambo, table tennis, and taekwondo WT.
