Representative of the Uzbekistan national Greco-Roman wrestling team Alisher Ganiev reached the final of the World Wrestling Championships in Croatia.

In the decisive bout in the −60 kg weight category, our compatriot lost to Aidos Sultangaliev of Kazakhstan and claimed the silver medal.
