In the Bulgarian city of Samokov, the World Youth Wrestling Championships (U20) are coming to an end. Today’s matches also turned out to be successful for our national team. In particular, Greco-Roman wrestler Aytjan Khalmakhanov won a gold medal.

Competing in the weight category –63 kg, the Uzbek athlete defeated an opponent from Japan, as well as a neutral athlete representing Russia and a wrestler from Kazakhstan at the qualification stage. In the final, he confidently defeated an athlete from Armenia with a score of 12:2.
