As part of the World Aquatics Championships held in Singapore, the Congress of the World Aquatics Federation convened to discuss key issues related to the global development of aquatic sports, enhancing organizational efficiency, and improving its governance structure.

One of the key outcomes of the Congress was the formation of a new composition of the World Aquatics Executive Bureau. It is a matter of pride that Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva - First Deputy Chairperson of the National Paralympic Committee and First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection - was elected as a member of this prestigious organisation.

This election not only enhances the international standing of Uzbek professionals in global sports organizations but also represents a significant step toward the development of swimming infrastructure in Uzbekistan and the effective advancement of aquatic sports, starting with youth programs.
