Today, the Judo Grand Slam tournament kicked off in the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar. On the very first day of the competition, the Uzbekistan national team secured a gold medal.

In the under 66 kg weight category, our compatriot Abdurakhim Nutfullaev defeated all of his opponents and became the champion of the tournament. It is especially worth noting that in the final bout, he overcame Denis Vieru of Moldova, a medalist of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
