Young leaders in sports ranks expanding
Today, a meeting was held at the Agency for Youth Affairs dedicated to launching the new “Young Sports Leaders” program being implemented in our country.
The Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov, Deputy Director of the Agency Dilnozakhon Kattakhonova, Director of the Uzbekistan Volunteer Association Shirin Abidova, and young sports enthusiasts took part in the event.
The meeting discussed ways to support young people’s interest in sports and direct them into relevant programs that match their interests.
Participants also exchanged views on how volunteers can gain experience at international competitions to be held in Tashkent, and ensure their participation in major multi-sport events.
