Tashkent Celebrates 130th Anniversary of World Volleyball Day
July 7 marks World Volleyball Day, celebrated across the globe. This year’s occasion was especially significant as the sport commemorates its 130th anniversary, and Uzbekistan joined in with festive events of its own.
One of the main celebrations took place at the “JAR” Sports Complex in Tashkent, bringing together officials from the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, the Uzbekistan Volleyball Federation, as well as industry professionals and media representatives.
The event, which gathered hundreds of volleyball enthusiasts, also featured a running competition, adding a dynamic sporting spirit to the day’s festivities.
