Today would have been the 78th birthday of Mirabror Usmonov — a distinguished statesman and former President of both the National Olympic Committee and the Football Federation of Uzbekistan, who made an enormous contribution to the development of sports in our country.

Mirabror Zufarovich will always be remembered with deep respect for his invaluable role in advancing the Olympic Movement, nurturing the younger generation, and elevating Uzbekistan’s reputation on the international sports stage.
