Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan Elevate Sports Cooperation to a New Level
A delegation from the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, along with representatives of the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, is currently on a working visit to Almaty, Kazakhstan. As part of the visit, officials are holding meetings aimed at further strengthening cooperation with the brotherly nation in the field of sports.
Today, negotiations were held with the Minister of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, Mr. Yerbol Mirzabossynov, and the President of the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan, renowned boxer Gennady Golovkin.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in sports, including the organization of joint training camps for national teams, collaborative preparation for major competitions, identification and support of talented youth, as well as the exchange of expertise in the development of sports infrastructure.
This visit is expected to mark a significant step forward in advancing sports relations between the two countries.
