The U17 Asian Wrestling Championships are underway in Vietnam, with intense action across various weight categories. Competitions in Greco-Roman and women’s wrestling have concluded, bringing excellent results for Uzbekistan’s young talents.

Our athletes earned a total of three gold medals, one silver, and one bronze across the two disciplines:

Gold Medals:
71 kg: Bekhruzbek Valiev
80 kg: Abdulaziz Kholmirzaev
40 kg: Shohista Shonazarova

Silver Medal:
46 kg: Mashhura Abdumusaeva

Bronze Medal:
65 kg: Khusan Giyosiddinov

Notably, Uzbekistan’s Greco-Roman wrestling team dominated the tournament, finishing first in the overall team standings with an impressive haul of 3 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
