Officials Assess Training Conditions for Para-Athletes at the “Dukent” Sports Base
As part of their working visit to the city of Angren, representatives from the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee reviewed the state of the local sports infrastructure — including the “Dukent” training base.
Today, “Dukent” serves as a key hub for Uzbekistan’s national para-sports teams. Around 100 para-athletes are currently undergoing intensive training camps at the facility.
During the visit, officials closely observed the athletes' daily training routines, living accommodations, medical support systems, and the availability of modern sports equipment. They also engaged in direct conversations with coaches and athletes, listening to their feedback and suggestions to further enhance training conditions.
