Uzbekistan’s Young Wrestlers Open Asian Championships with Four Medals
The Asian Wrestling Championships for U17 and U23 age categories kicked off in Vũng Tàu, Vietnam, with a strong showing from Team Uzbekistan. On the opening day, which featured U23 Greco-Roman wrestling, our athletes claimed an impressive four medals — 2 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze.
Gold Medals:
72 kg – Abdulla Aliev
82 kg – Samandar Bobonazarov
Silver Medal:
60 kg – Mehroj Bakhramov
Bronze Medal:
67 kg – Ogabek Mukimov
