Tursuna Rakhimova became the first girl of Uzbekistan who won a boxing victory at the Olympics
Boxing competitions started on the second day of Tokyo 2020. The first fight of the day was held with the participation of our girl — Tursuna Rakhimova.
Rakhimova, who competed in the -51 kg weight category, fought against Sandra Drabik from Poland and won a landslide victory.
Thus, Rakhimova became the first Uzbek girl who won the boxing competition at the Olympic Games. Her next opponent will be Buse Naz Cakiroglu from Turkey.
