Analysis of the "Olympic Heights of New Uzbekistan" Competitions Held
The "Olympic Heights of New Uzbekistan" competitions, taking place across the country, have sparked great interest among our youth. Today, a meeting was held at the National Olympic Committee to discuss ways to improve the effectiveness of these competitions.
The event was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Sports, the NOC, as well as officials from various sports federations and associations. Regional sports departments and institutions followed the meeting online from across the country.
Minister Adkham Ikramov presented an analysis of the current progress of the competitions. The regions with the highest performance were highlighted, along with the names of young athletes who achieved outstanding results. It was particularly noted that in some regions, track and field results are approaching the national champion level.
In turn, the NOC leadership expressed gratitude to the most active regional branches. Secretary General Oybek Kasimov emphasized that Olympic-standard equipment will soon be delivered to the regions to support the local stages of the competition.
At the conclusion of the meeting, specific instructions were given to responsible officials to enhance the efficiency of the work and address existing issues.
