The Asian Athletics Championships have officially kicked off in Gumi, South Korea — and Team Uzbekistan wasted no time making an impact.

On the opening day of the competition, Uzbekistan’s Sharifa Davronova secured a silver medal in the women’s triple jump with a mark of 13.74 meters, narrowly missing the top spot by just six centimeters.
