Uzbekistan's judokas, who performed admirably at the Asian Judo Championship for adults in Bangkok, Thailand, were awarded in recognition of their achievements. The event was attended by First Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Otabek Umarov, General Secretary of the NOC Oybek Kasimov, and President of the Uzbekistan Judo Federation Azizjon Kamilov, who congratulated the athletes on their successful performances at the continental championship.

For reference, the Uzbekistan national team secured second place in the overall medal standings, both in individual and mixed team competitions, finishing only behind the home country of judo, Japan.
