Upgrading Sports Infrastructure: Leaders of the Ministry and NOC Visit the University of Physical Culture and Sports
The leadership of the Ministry of Sports and the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan visited the State University of Physical Culture and Sports to review the results of large-scale efforts aimed at strengthening the university’s material and technical infrastructure.
In recent times, major renovations have been carried out at the university — including the shooting center, the rowing base, and the wrestling department. The surface of the main stadium has also been completely renewed. During the visit, officials personally inspected the modernized facilities.
The leaders also interacted with young athletes training at these departments and reviewed the conditions created for their development and performance.
In addition, the university’s student dormitory was inspected — discussions were held regarding student living conditions, the state of everyday infrastructure, and the prospects for the further development of the university.
