Our para-athletes who won licenses were awarded in "Dukent"

Today, an award ceremony was held in Angren for para-athletes who won a license for the Tokyo Paralympics. The event was held on the basis of "Dukent" and the chairman of the National Paralympic Committee Mukhtorkhon Tashkhadzhayev and the first deputy chairman of the NOC of Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov took part in it.

Licensees of the Tokyo Paralympics in para-athletics and para-rowing were awarded certificates worth 100 million rubles.sum, and their coaches - for 50 million soums.

Mukhtorkhon Tashkhadzhayev, who spoke at the ceremony, expressed his warm wishes to para-athletes and coaches who are preparing for the start of Tokyo 2020. Also, the first deputy chairman of the National Olympic Committee Ravshan Irmatov expressed his opinion.

"Your results, which are achieved through patience and courage, are worthy of praise. Of course, we have big goals ahead of us. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, our people and the President expect great victories from you. I hope that you will definitely justify your trust and make a worthy gift to the 30th anniversary of our country's Independence. We wish you good luck, " Ravshan Irmatov said.

During the event, representatives of the para-athletics team — Sabina Sukhanova, Asila Mirzayorova, Muhammad Rehsimov and Nurkhon Kurbanova also spoke. The Paralympians expressed their gratitude to our Esteemed President for the attention and care shown to them, promising that they will perform with dignity in Tokyo 2020.
