The age category of the club's players corresponds to participation in Paris-2024. The head coach of the Olympic team is Timur Kapadze.
This practice, which was first introduced in the history of Uzbek football in preparation for the Olympic Games, has already begun to bear fruit. Our team, which participates in the Pro-League, currently leads the standings with 26 points. Today, the team's report for the first half of the year was reviewed. The event was attended by the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, the first deputy chairman of the NOC and the first vice-president of the AFU Ravshan Irmatov, the deputy chairman of the NOC Saken Polatov, the management of the Olympic team, the coaching staff and football players.
The first speaker was Timur Kapadze and told about the work done for half a year, the activities of the national team, training and plans for the future.
"Our players have received offers from many Super League clubs, which makes us very happy. These players are the future of the National Team. We have big goals ahead of us. After that, the address of the famous figure of Uzbek football, honored mentor of the youth of Uzbekistan Akhbor Imomkhuzhayev was read out to the AFU and the players.
During the event, media representatives asked questions of interest to themselves, exchanged views on the topics discussed.
We are currently on a summer vacation in the Pro League. In order to adequately prepare for the second half of the Pro-League, Olympic will leave for Belarus tomorrow.
