The Republican festival of gymnast was held in Gulistan
This year, the "International Olympic Day"is widely celebrated in all parts of the country. At the end of the Olympic Week, the Republican Gymnast Festival was held in Gulistan.
The purpose of the events dedicated to the International Olympic Day and held under the patronage of the NOC of Uzbekistan with the support of sports federations and Associations is to attract as many participants as possible, thereby promoting the Olympic concept of "Sport for all". Only the Gymnast gathered 400 fans of a healthy and active lifestyle.
The gymnastics festival has turned into a real colorful show. Less than a month is left before the start of the 32nd Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, where representatives of the Gymnastics Federation of Uzbekistan will also perform, in the discipline of gymnastics-Oksana Chusovitina and Rasuljon Abdurakhimov, artistic gymnastics — in individual exercises Sabina Tashkent, in group exercises — Nilufar Shamurodova, Dinara Ravshanbekova, Sevara Safoeva, Ksenia Alexandrova and Kamola Irnazarova. 13 teams from different regions of the republic performed their programs in support of our Olympians. The festival was held on the basis of the children's and youth sports school of gymnastics in the city of Gulistan.
At the end of the speeches on behalf of the President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach and the Chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov, all participants were awarded diplomas.
