An online meeting on strengthening control at sports facilities was held
According to the decision of the special Republican commission, new quarantine requirements were introduced starting today. An online meeting dedicated to monitoring compliance with the requirements and the epidemiological situation at sports facilities was held. It was attended by Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports Avaz Karimov, Deputy Chairman of the NOC Sherzod Tashmatov, Director of the RNCSM at the NOC Abdushukur Sadikov, representatives of sports federations and associations.
At the beginning of the online meeting, Abdushukur Sadikov spoke in detail about the decision of the special commission, the features of the new strain of viral infection. After that, Sherzod Tashmatov also spoke on the topic.
"The situation related to the coronavirus increasingly requires us to be vigilant. For several years, we have been working hard to take part in this Olympiad with dignity. It is impossible to allow that because of a small mistake, all plans were implemented without a positive result. We will strengthen control in all sports bases. No one will enter and leave the base unnecessarily. Our Dear President and the people of the country have high hopes for us. We must justify their trust, " Sherzod Tashmatov said.
During the meeting, conversations were held with each representative of the federation, their problems and existing shortcomings, the health of athletes and the training process were discussed in detail.
