The Modern Pentathlon Federation of Uzbekistan solemnly and vividly celebrated the "International Olympic Day"
The Federation of Modern Pentathlon of Uzbekistan held a solemn event dedicated to the "International Olympic Day"on the territory of the Youth Sports School N2 of the Yunus-Abad district. It was attended by more than 80 young athletes-pentathletes of children's and youth sports schools of Yunus-Abad and Uchtepa districts.
At first, young athletes competed in laser-wound (this is the discipline of modern pentathlon, combining running and shooting from a laser pistol). Then the children were waiting for an entertainment program with games and contests from the host. And finally, to restore strength, a delicious picnic was organized for the children, during which the athletes were told in detail about the history of the "International Olympic Day", about the role of sports in people's lives and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
