The National Olympic Committee congratulated a group of media representatives on their professional holiday
June 27 is widely celebrated in our country as the Day of Press and Media Workers. Today, a solemn ceremony was held at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, where a group of journalists who are actively involved in the process of promoting a healthy lifestyle in Uzbekistan were congratulated.
The event was attended by the chairman of the NOC Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov and his first deputy Ravshan Irmatov, the Secretary General of the Committee Oibek Kassymov, the Deputy chairman of the NOC Sherzod Tashmatov, the chairman of the Council of Sports Veterans of Uzbekistan Bahodir Mahsitov, as well as a group of media and honorary journalists. The event was opened by the head of the NOC, congratulating our colleagues working in the field of sports promotion in our country.

You are making a significant contribution to the development of the New Uzbekistan, which is being built by our Head of State. It should be noted that you always actively cover the ongoing reforms in our country in the field of sports and the successes achieved. At the same time, you are our loyal friends who point out the shortcomings that we allow in our work. We wish everyone creative success and good health, " said Rustam Shaabdurakhmanov.
Then, a group of press and media representatives, as well as honorary journalists, were presented with gifts on behalf of the NOC.
On the occasion of the holiday, the General Secretary of the NOC, Oybek Kassymov, tried himself as a sports journalist and interviewed media representatives.
