Another historical result from our taekwondo athletes: the national team of Uzbekistan won the first place in the "Beirut Open"
The international taekwondo tournament “Beirut Open” was held in Beirut after the completion of the Asian Championship. Representatives of Uzbekistan managed to win 10 medals in this competition.
Charos Kayumova (-53 kg) and Feruza Sadykova (-62 kg) who became Asian champions, as well as Madinabona Mannopova (-49 kg), Ozoda Sobirzhonova (-57 kg) and Nikita Rafalovich (-80 kg) won the first place in the “Beirut Open”. Zhasur Zhaysunov (-74 kg) and Shokhsanam Azamova (-46 kg) were awarded silver, and Shokhrukh Razhabov (+80 kg), Gulsanam Alizhonova (-67 kg) and Sardor Toirov (-68 kg) became bronze medalists.
It is noteworthy that the national team of Uzbekistan with 10 medals (5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze) took first place in the team competition. We remind you that a few days ago at the Asian Championship, our taekwondo athletes won 3 gold, 1 silver and 6 bronze medals and set the best record in the history of the national team. The delegation of Uzbekistan will arrive in Tashkent on the night of June 21-22 at 01: 00.
