Para-swimming: representatives of Uzbekistan successfully started in the international competition
Currently, our para-swimmers in Berlin are taking part in a competition from the World Series. 411 athletes from 39 countries of the world compete in this tournament.
On the first day of the competition in the 100-meter butterfly, two of our para-swimmers climbed to the podium. Shokhsanam Toshpulatova managed to win a gold medal, and Muzaffar Tursunkhuzhayev-a bronze.
Shokhsanam showed a result of 1:06.30 minutes, and Muzaffar took 57.34 seconds to overcome the distance.
Our athletes will also start in the following directions: individual complex (200 meters), backstroke (100 meters), freestyle (50 meters) and breaststroke (100 meters).
