Ergashev Adhamjon Abdullayevich was born on March 12, 1999 in Namangan. Since the age of 12, he has been engaged in weightlifting. Before joining the National Team, he trained under the guidance of Mirzohid Turgunov. Currently, we are actively preparing for the Tokyo Olympics with the head coach of the national team, Bahrom Mendiboyev, and a specialist from Kazakhstan, Yerzhas Boltaev.
Since the age of 15, he has been involved in the National Team. In 2014, he won a bronze medal at the Youth Olympics in Nanjing. Since then, he has successfully performed at competitions and adequately defends the honor of the country.
In 2016, he became the world champion among juniors, and in 2018 and 2019 - among young people. In 2017, at the age of 18, he won bronze in the snatch exercise at the World Adult Championships.
In the 2018 Asian Games, he became a bronze medalist in the -62 kg weight category. In the 2019 World Championship among adults in the push exercise, he was again awarded bronze.
