The 19th Interregional Meeting of WADA has commenced in Tashkent
The 19th Intergovernmental Meeting of the Ministries of Sports of Asian and Oceanian Countries of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has commenced at the InterContinental Tashkent Hotel. The event is being attended by WADA President Witold Bańka, Head of the Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan Odil Abdurakhmanov, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adham Ikramov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee Oybek Kasimov, and delegates from 34 countries across both regions.
During the two-day event, current issues in the sector will be addressed, and a number of topics related to mutual cooperation will be discussed.
