Our Greco-Roman wrestlers won four more medals

An international wrestling tournament has ended in Poland. On the last day of the competition, representatives of Uzbekistan managed to win four more medals.

Islomjon Bahromov, who performed in the weight category-63 kg, overcame all his rivals and became the champion. In the final, he managed to defeat Ayata Suzuki (Japan) with a score of 5:3. Another one of our wrestlers Mirzobek Rakhmatov (-72 kg) lost to Gevorg Sahakian from Poland in the decisive fight and was awarded silver.

Also, the Tokyo 2020 licensee Rustam Assakalov (-87 kg) and Mukhammadkodir Yusupov (-60 kg) became bronze medalists.

Thus, the national team of Uzbekistan completed the international tournament with 10 medals (Greco-Roman wrestlers — 2 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze; freestyle wrestlers-1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze).
