The flag of the International Judo Federation was awarded to Uzbekistan

The World Judo Championship is coming to an end in Budapest. Today, before the start of the final of the last day, a ceremony was held to present the flag of the International Judo Federation to the hosts of the next World Championship.

The event was attended by the president of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer, Deputy Chairman of the NOC, Chairman of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan Azizjon Kamilov, President of the Hungarian Judo Federation Laszlo Totz. At the event, the Hungarian side, which are the hosts of the World Cup, presented the IJF flag to Marius Vizer. In turn, the head of the IJF handed over the flag to the next host of the World Cup — Uzbekistan. Accepting the flag, Azizjon Kamilov noted that with the support of our state, Tashkent will organize the upcoming World Cup at the proper level.

Recall that the next World Judo Championship in 2022 will be hosted by Tashkent. This is the first World Championship in the history of our country in judo among adults. The date of the World Cup will be officially announced later.
