Long-awaited news! Our full weightlifters were awarded the Tokyo 2020 license
As you know, after the World Weightlifting Championship among youth, which was held in Tashkent, the collection of rating points for Tokyo 2020 was completed. The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) announced the names of weightlifters who were awarded a license for the Tokyo Olympics.
The Uzbekistan national weightlifting team was allocated 4 quotas (2+2). It is noteworthy that the team was able to make the most of the chance and win 4 permits. According to the results of the IWF rating, Adhamjon Ergashev (-67 kg) and Akbar Juraev (-109 kg) among the boys, and Muattar Nabieva (-55 kg) and Kumushkhon Fayzullayeva (-76 kg) among the girls became holders of licenses of the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan congratulates the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan and the licensees on such success and wishes them to win victories in Tokyo.
