Our wrestlers won 2 medals at the championship in Poland
As we reported earlier, an international wrestling tournament is currently being held in Poland. On the first day of the competition, our wrestlers managed to win 2 medals.
Rashid Kurbanov (-79 kg) in the quarterfinals and semifinals did not leave any chances to the representatives of Poland and Lithuania, winning with a score of 10:0. In the final, Kurbanov fought against Akhsarbek Gulaev. The main time of the fight ended with a score of 2:2. Since Gulaev won the last point, he became the gold medalist. And our wrestler was awarded silver.
Also, one more chairman of Uzbekistan, Mahmud Shavkatov (-57 kg), won bronze. As part of today's championship, our wrestlers will perform in several weight categories.
