Diora Keldierova is in the semifinals!
The second day of the World Judo Championship in Budapest is going well for the national team of Uzbekistan. A few minutes ago, our judoka Diyora Keldiyorova (-52 kg) reached the semifinals.
In the first stage, Keldiyorova overcame Angelica Delgado from the USA. Then she managed to defeat Estrella Lopez (Spain), Ekaterina Guica (Canada). And in the quarterfinals, the fight against Amber Riheul decided in her favor prematurely.
In the semifinals, our representative will take to the tatami against Ai Shishime from Japan. It is noteworthy that Keldiyorova is the first Uzbek judoka who managed to reach the semifinals of the World Championship among adults. We sincerely wish good luck to Diana in the upcoming fight!
