The World Championship in hand-to-hand combat among adults starts in Tashkent. The championship will be held on June 5-7 at the Yunusabad Sports Complex and more than 200 athletes from 30 countries will take part in it.
The main task of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan in our country is not only the development of the Olympic movement in the Republic, but also to promote the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and mass sports, as well as attracting young people to physical culture and sports. In addition, the NOC supports all initiatives and projects in this direction.
It should be noted that hand-to-hand combat plays an important role in the process of educating the youth of our country physically healthy and courageous, in increasing the combat readiness of our servicemen as part of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
We believe that this World Championship, which will be held in Tashkent for the first time, will be a powerful impetus for further popularization of hand-to-hand combat in our country, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, which is put forward by our Esteemed President.
The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan wishes great success in the further activities of the Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation of Uzbekistan and to hold the upcoming competitions at a high level, and also expresses its readiness to cooperate in popularizing mass sports in Uzbekistan.
