"Love sports, live with sports!": competitions in Samarkand united more than 10 thousand young basketball players
The Republican Sports Festival "Love sports, live with sports!" organized jointly with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports continues. In May, basketball competitions were held in Samarkand.
According to the information provided, during the month, competitions were organized in more than 490 mahallas of cities and districts and about 10,070 young people took part in them. At the end of the month, the best teams of districts and cities competed for the championship in the region. The competitions were held in two age categories up to 17 years and up to 30 years. It is noteworthy that the athletes of Samarkand were the best in both directions.
