Events are being held in Karakalpakstan to implement 5 initiatives
As you know, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has put forward 5 initiatives to increase attention to young people, to involve them widely in culture, art and sports, to develop skills in using information technologies, to promote reading books among the younger generation, and currently events are being held throughout the Country to promote these ideas. The implemented program in Karakalpakstan should be particularly noted.
Last week, sports competitions were held in Nukus — the SGB Cup, as well as competitions under the slogan "Love sports, live with sports!" in mini-football, volleyball, basketball, athletics and workout.
Special attention is paid to the city of Muynak. In particular, the NOC supports these initiatives. The representative of the Committee, Mirsardor Alimov, during his working visit to Muynak, implemented several projects on attracting the youth of the region to physical culture and sports. The event was also attended by the khokim of the district, Erpolat Yedenbayev, noting that sports are gradually becoming one of the favorite activities of the youth of the region and about the attention paid by the state to this area. After that, sports equipment worth 50 million was transferred to the youth of the district.
It should be noted that the implemented plans are designed to organize leisure time for young people with benefit, to attract them to sports during the summer holidays.
