"They will defend the honor of the country in Tokyo": our talented breaststroker Vladislav Mustafin
Today's hero of the project "They will defend the honor of the country in Tokyo" is the representative of the Uzbek national swimming team Vladislav Mustafin.
Vladislav Alfredovich Mustafin was born on September 26, 1995. Since 2003, he has been engaged in swimming. His first mentor is Irina Galashova. Currently, he trains under the guidance of Aleftina Reshetova. In 2009, he was accepted into the National Team.
This swimmer specializes in the breaststroke direction and has achieved significant results. During his professional career, he won prizes at several prestigious international competitions. Including:
At the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, he won a bronze medal with the national team in the 100-meter mixed relay. In the single direction for 50 meters, he became the fourth.
He participated in the 2013 World Championships in Barcelona, 2015 in Kazan, in 2019 in Gwangju, and the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Among these competitions, the most important for Mustafin was the World Cup in Kazan. Then he managed to reach the semifinals in the 50-meter swim and compete with the 16 best swimmers in the world.
In the open Cup of Uzbekistan, which was held in November 2020 in Tashkent, he fulfilled the standard of the Tokyo Olympics for a distance of 100 meters (in the direction of breaststroke).
