As you know, Tashkent will host the Asian Sambo Championship on June 4-6. In this regard, a meeting of the Organizing Committee of the Asian Sambo Championship was held at the Universal Sports Palace of the Taekwondo Association of Uzbekistan.

The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the organizing Committee, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Sports of Uzbekistan Avaz Karimov. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Ravshan Irmatov, Chairman of the Asian Sambo Union Alamjon Mullaev, Director General of the Asian Sambo Union Suresh Gupi, Chairman of the Sambo Association of Uzbekistan Alisher Alimov, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications, The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Youth Affairs of Uzbekistan, the Administration of the city of Tashkent, JSC "Airports", the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan, the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, JSC"Regional Electric Networks".

At the meeting, all issues related to the holding of the Asian Sambo Championship 2021 at the highest level, specified in the protocol of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 31-31 / 1-198 of May 27, were considered, instructions and instructions were given to prevent shortcomings. It was noted that the championship should be held at a high level, given that it is organized on an international scale.

Currently, the Sambo Association of Uzbekistan is actively preparing for the organization of the Asian Championship. Our athletes are diligently preparing for the continental championship. Currently, members of our national team are holding training camps in Chirchik.
